At 1:54 a.m., officers responded to Route 46 on a report of an erratic driver and found a silver Hyundai stopped in the intersection of Route 46 and North Mt. Olive Road, Mt. Olive police said.
The vehicle, driven by Jordan Griffith, remained stopped at the intersection through a full cycle of the light, failing to proceed when the light turned green, police said. As police spoke with Griffith they detected the odor of burnt marijuana and he appeared to be impaired, officers said.
After sobriety testing, Griffith was charged with DWI, reckless driving, delaying traffic and failure to posses a driver's license, police said.
